Dr. Kiel's over 20 years of experience and his methodology have been peer-reviewed to become a Diplomate, Board Certified Vocational Expert through the American Board of Vocational Experts, and a Certified Life Care Planner through the International Commission on Healthcare Certification. Dr. Kiel has consulted and been retained by Plaintiff and Defense Firms in a multitude of cases. Moreover, Dr. Kiel has been retained on cases to conduct Vocational Rehabilitation Evaluation and provide expert witness consulting and testimony for a variety of disabilities and types of cases. Dr. Kiel has been retained and/or consulted on numerous cases involving Traumatic Brain Injuries, Pediatric Wage Loss Analysis, and Orthopedic injuries. Dr. Kiel's Doctoral level courses in Industrial/Organizational Psychology provide him with a strong quantitative foundation to examine peer-reviewed literature, methodology, review and examine personnel records, and ascertain the psychometric soundness of opposing experts' testing instruments and reporting.
For approximately 18 years, Dr. Kiel has enjoyed working with the oil and gas or petroleum industry. and actively researching numerous national and regional occupational families within the labor market. Additionally, he enjoys evaluating individuals on the Autism Spectrum. Dr. Kiel is experienced being deposed by the Plaintiff and Defense for cases on numerous occasions coupled with trial testimony. Dr. Kiel is equipped with practical and theoretical knowledge.
